What are proposals?
Proposals are professional branded documents you send to homeowners to present your services, pricing, and terms. Homeowners can review the proposal on any device and sign digitally — no printing or scanning required.
Creating a proposal
There are two ways to create a proposal:
- Go to Proposals in your dashboard and click + New Proposal
- Open any lead and click + Create Proposal — the homeowner's info will pre-fill automatically
What a proposal includes
- Cover page — your company branding, cover image, and tagline
- Personal letter — a message directly to the homeowner
- About Us — your company photo, bio, badges, and contact info
- Custom pages — testimonials, coverage area, team bios, and more
- Pricing plans — your service plans with pricing
- Service agreement — your terms and conditions
- Digital signature — homeowner signs directly on the proposal
Sending a proposal
Once created, click Send on the proposal. The homeowner receives an email with a link to view the proposal. You can also copy the link and share it manually.
Tracking proposals
You get an email notification every time a homeowner views your proposal. The proposal list in your dashboard shows the status of each proposal: Draft, Sent, Viewed, Signed, or Expired.
Digital signatures
When a homeowner signs a proposal, their signature is captured along with a timestamp and IP address. You receive an instant email notification with their selected plan and contact details. The homeowner also receives a confirmation email.
Custom pages and templates
You can create reusable page templates in Settings → Page Templates. Templates can include text, images, and layout options (text only, text + image, full-width image). When creating a proposal, select which templates to include.
Pricing plans on proposals
Your default pricing plans come from Settings → Pricing Plans. You can also customize pricing per proposal — toggle plans on or off, override the price, or apply a discount.
